Shomrim In Israel

On your walls, Jerusalem, I have set watchmen.
All day and all night, they will never hold their peace.
“You who remind Adonai  take no rest for yourselves,
 And give Him no rest until He establishes
    and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:6-12

We are Shomrim ( the Watchmen ) a worship band made up of believers in Yeshua (Jesus) in the Nashville area. We come from different backgrounds and church denominations, some of us are Jewish and others are not. But what we are is mishpachah (family) through the mercy and kindness of our Savior, Yeshua. 

We have been made by the Lord into the One New Man spoken of in Ephesians 2:15, reconciled to God through the cross, by which He put to death our hostility. (Eph. 2:16) As a worship band we both create and translate worship songs in English and Hebrew, as well as add other languages so that all who hear our music can experience unity through music, worshipping the God of the nations as one.

This year our worship band has been invited to Israel this fall during the Festival of Tabernacles to do a worship tour in Israel to encourage and refresh our brothers and sisters in the Land. We will have the opportunity to worship in the Houses of Prayer, churches, ministries and even on the streets of Tel Aviv!

Our “One New Man” worship band is a testimony of both Jew and non-Jew worshipping Yeshua (Jesus), our Messiah together and demonstrating the unity in the Body. Our goal is to glorify our Creator, minister the Gospel of Salvation, and refresh our mishpachah (family in the faith) through multilingual worship music that points to Yeshua as the long-awaited Messiah. 

We believe that one day every nation and every tongue will worship God together, so why not start now? The mission for this Feast of Tabernacles is great and we are preparing spiritually and musically. The financial goal is big and we are trusting that if God invited us, He will prepare the way, and that includes the opportunity for our friends and family here to sow into this mission.
